Colour Variations

My boyfriend is a massive "Belgariad" fan and the reason I chose to do the book with the project. So I like to run my designs and Ideas by him as he knows the universe better than me.

Going on his feedback, I changed Belgaraths costume from red to blue because the god, Aldur, that Belgarath is a disciple of is represented by blue. The antagonist god
(Torak's) representative colour is red. I think because of this, using red on Belgaraths design was inconsistent with the lore of the story world and was
visually misleading.

I also got the feedback that the colour blue I used was too rich so I changed it out for a more faded blue. After doing this though I didn't think the colour harmonized well with the rest of the design.

This resulted in my third variation but I think this one looks to saturated, with no focal colour to draw the eye. I think a good compromise would be a design that had a colour scheme that fell somewhere between my last two variations.
